Here..... i was, at last in Mysore. Had got the admission for the Post P.U.C Diploma course of Journalism with Karnataka Open University, with much difficulty. ....So, finally my parents came along to drop me at the hostel for ten days of contact classes that i had to attend there. ......And as soon as i reached the University i fell in love with the campus....It was so beautiful and Calm there....However, my exitement was short -lived, becuase very soon i was taken up to my room.......Hey! did i say room?....looked more like a cell to me. ...( not that i had any experience of a cell to know what it looks like.....anyways, it was a small room with a window at the far end...and an iron cot in it......not to mention that the wall was covered with cobwebs......Wasn't that just greeaa.....ttt! and i had to stay there for ten days....That was my room...but i somehow swallowed my despair at the condition of my room and put on a brave face in front of my parents..and they finally left........
Now, if i am describing my hostel room...how can i leave the bathroom out......But, i was quite positive it would not be all that baa...dd!
And, actually it was fine i guess......except for the fact that once while having bath i looked up to see a spider , worm and much more on the wall..I guess maybe they were waiting for their turn to have a bath..eh!?.......and to top it all how can one forget the dog's running around the hostel campus....Dog , maybe a man's best friend....but i was sooo... scared of dogs that i used to walk along the roads criss-cross once i saw one ahead..and here i had to tolerate not just one or two but four dogs!!!....
